The tickets start at a price of 19 euros per journey – taxes included – and will be available as from this Friday on the company’s website.
This route, whose inaugural flight will be taking place on the following 15th of June, will be operating two flights a week, every Tuesday and Saturday, during the winter season, so the low cost airline informed.
To be specific, on Tuesdays there will be a flight from Asturias at 18:05hrs and another one from Malaga airport at 16:05hrs. On Saturdays the departure from Asturias is expected at 16:50hrs and from Malaga airport at 14:50hrs. This route will not operate between the 9th of January and the 1st of March.
The tickets for the winter flights that connect Venice with Bilbao, Santiago de Compostela and Malaga have also come out on sale this Friday. Over the next few weeks, Volotea will be selling the rest of their program.
The company, whose corporate head office is in Barcelona, will be basing nine Boeing 717, with 125 seats in each one, in three operative bases: four planes in the Venice-Marco Polo airport, three in Nantes, and another two in Ibiza. From each one of these airports they will be providing a wide network of national and international destinations.
Volotea was founded by Carlos Muñoz and Lazaro Ros (CEO and General Manager, respectively) who aldo founded Vueling Airlines, one of the most importand low cost airlines in Europe.
