Helitt will be connecting Malaga and Badajoz as from the 13th of July

The company Helitt Airlines have announced a new route between Malaga and Badajoz which will commence as from the following 13th of July. As from this date, there will new operations starting from the Badajoz airport, like a flight to Barcelona or the increase of the frequency to Mallorca.

This way, the company increase their frequency of services at the Badajoz airport “adding five new flights to the already existing connections”, from the price of 25 euros.

According to Helitt, in a press note, as from last Friday, the tickets can already be purchased for the two new weekly frequencies that will be connecting Badajoz with Malaga and Barcelona, that will be operating the first flight on the 13th of July, and a new frequency with Mallorca, that will begin on the 19th of the same month.

This way, explain the company, Badajoz are connected to Malaga airport with four flights a week, to Barcelona with eight, and to Palma de Mallorca on Saturdays and Thursdays, as well as the seven weekly connections to Madrid that stay the same.

They added that the Badajoz airport “have been rather benefitted by Helitt and won’t be needing the Efficiency Plan of Airports after all”, which means that during the hours with flights “the activity of the facilities will remain fully operative and not cut down to half”.

This way, Helitt continued pronouncing the same words as Aena sources, that according to June’s provisional figures, the Talavera La Real airport “provided service to over 6.500 passengers, of which nine out of ten travelled with Helitt, which means an approximated increase in the airport’s activity of around 2200 passengers”.

Helitt concluded assuring that “they will remain loyal to the Badajoz airport, maintaining and boosting their connections after the excellent results obtained until now with a constant increase of passengers”, as a result of the “great reception shown by the locals and the visitors, and due to the progressive offer of air connections at very competitive prices”.
