The airline Swiss consolidates its commitment to Malaga in the next season with the announcement of increasing the number of flights to Malaga from Zurich and opening a new route to Geneva. The company explained that the airport of the Costa del Sol keeps being a priority for Swiss International Air Lines.
The new frequency Malaga-Geneva will be operational from next Sunday and will have four frequencies a week. Meanwhile, the route from Zurich happens to have two daily flights to Malaga, thus this service will benefit both journeys to the heart of Europe and the connection to the international network of 69 destinations of Swiss airlines.
Thus, the airline aims to connect the airport Malaga – Costa del Sol with the centres of the company’s operations in Zurich and Geneva, allowing connections to European and intercontinental destinations as varied as Moscow, Bucharest, Berlin, Boston or Hong Kong. Just in November 2012, Swiss International Airlines has named the airport Malaga-Costa del Sol “Station of the year 2011” in recognition of the quality of passenger service, of all the airports that the airline flies to.
Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) operates to 70 destinations in 37 countries around the world from its Zurich hub and the other two international airports in Switzerland, Geneva and Basel. The carrier is also known as Swiss and is the principal airline of Switzerland. Swiss is a subsidiary of German Lufthansa and a Star Alliance member. It offers membership in its frequent-flyer program Miles & More and enables its passengers to check in online.
